Choose the part of Alder Mere you would like to explore, then put the important details in one place. The local worksheet below helps you prepare an inquiry. It keeps the result in this browser and does not send a message or reserve anything.
Find your way around
1. Lodge and reception
Begin at reception to talk through arrival, room choice and the details that would make your visit easier.
2. Guest parking
The guest parking area sits beside the approach to the lodge. Confirm any step-free arrival requirements before travelling.
3. The Alder Table
The restaurant is part of the lodge. Read the example menu and use your visit notes to record preferences and questions.
4. The Lantern Room
The lounge is next to the dining room, with a slower corner for a drink and conversation.
5. Cabin path
The cabin path leads away from the lodge into the trees. Approaches and steps vary; ask about the cabin that fits your party.
6. Lakeside path
The lakeside route begins beyond the lodge. Check current conditions and choose an outing that fits the whole group.

Before you set out
Choose the right arrival
Think about the group travelling with you, luggage and any access needs. In a real visit, confirm the address, approach and check-in arrangements directly with your accommodation. The location shown in this study is fictional.
Share the useful details
A preferred date, the number of guests and the kind of room or gathering you have in mind make an inquiry easier to answer. Include mobility requirements and the services that are especially important to you.
Leave room for the weather
Outdoor plans work best with a little flexibility. Check conditions, bring appropriate layers and make a sheltered alternative part of the day. Our example worksheet includes space for the questions you want to ask.
