Roam 4 favours a straightforward listening path over extra processing. Its closed cushions provide a physical barrier around the ears, while Bluetooth and an analogue lead cover two kinds of source. At 238 g it is lighter than Hush 9, and the absence of active cancellation removes one setting to manage.
Try the headband at the desk where it will be used and keep the pouch free of sharp objects. A soft pouch prevents light scuffs but does not protect the headphones from a heavy bag pressing down. Use the analogue cable when stable synchronisation matters more than wireless freedom.
