Understand the cost before deciding

A clear estimate connects a proposed treatment with its stages, assumptions and continuing care. The amounts below are invented examples for this website, not a price list for a real practice.

Illustrative amounts

The sample table uses GBP to show how assessment and preventive appointments might be described. It is not a market comparison, treatment quote or statement of availability. There is no checkout or payment facility.

Larger treatment plans are shown as requiring an individual written estimate instead of a misleading single price. Imaging, preparation, the final restoration and maintenance may be separate stages at a real provider.

Reading a real estimate

Ask what is included, which assumptions it uses and how changes will be agreed. The estimate should distinguish assessment, treatment and review and explain any later costs that fall outside it.

If a proposal changes after further assessment, ask for the updated explanation and costs before agreeing to additional work. The treatment-decision sheet provides headings for that conversation.

Payment and insurance

Stillwell accepts no payments and has no insurer agreements. At a real practice, check when payment is due, who pays the provider and whether insurance benefits require prior authorisation. Confirm coverage directly with the insurer.

Policy limits, exclusions and waiting periods can affect what is covered. A dentist’s recommendation or estimate is not an insurer’s approval; keep the two decisions separate.

Financing and cancellations

This demonstration offers no credit, financing or cancellation charges. If a real provider offers instalments or finance, request the full terms and total cost and consider them separately from the clinical decision.

Ask the actual practice about changing or cancelling an appointment, any notice period and how urgent changes are handled. No booking is created here, so nothing in this preview can be cancelled or charged.
