Folding & practice aircraft

Kite Fold models emphasise packable camera equipment, while Practice 20 is a basic manual-position quadcopter. Their differences include camera resolution, gimbal, controller display, battery count and satellite positioning. A small airframe can still need a phone, recording card and a carefully prepared operating space.

Before choosing a model

Compare base, Travel and Screen kits by the actual box. Travel adds separate flight batteries, while Screen replaces the phone display with an integrated controller screen.

Mini 2 records 4K; original Mini kits record 2.7K. Extra batteries in a Travel box do not upgrade the camera, and similar capacity numbers do not establish battery interchangeability.

Does Practice 20 hold position like the Fold models?

No. It has no GNSS position hold or stabilised gimbal. It is a manually controlled practice aircraft with a basic fixed camera.

Are phones included with clamp controllers?

No. Select one of the explicitly compatible Slate phones separately and check its charge, clamp fit and controller connection before the session.
