Before choosing a model

Check whether the device needs a mobile connection, Wi-Fi or simply a prepared local file. No mobile service, app subscription or paid book library is included.

Choose storage around the files you will keep offline. Colour variants share the stated hardware; a larger screen or newer platform can matter more than a different finish.

Can these mobile devices drive an external monitor?

The defined Slate phone and tablet USB-C ports provide data and charging without video output. A passive adapter cannot supply the missing capability.

Which device is best for marking up a plan?

Canvas kits include the matching Slate Pen 2. Panel uses finger touch, and Leaf’s slow monochrome display is intended for reading rather than drawing.
