The example rental policy

This is the policy of a fictional service for demonstrating equipment comparisons. It is not a rental offer or legal agreement. Each eligible model has one-, three-, six- and twelve-month example terms. The monthly rate is calculated from its base rate using 100%, 95%, 90% and 80% respectively, rounded up to a whole cent before multiplying by the term and quantity.

Prices are illustrative tax-inclusive euro amounts. The sample list adds no further tax, delivery charge or insurance fee. The rent commitment is the total of all monthly rent payments over the chosen term; refundable deposits are shown outside that amount.

The illustrative amount due at the start is the first month's rent plus the deposit for each rental line, together with the full price of any purchase lines. Remaining rent is the term rent less the first monthly payment. The first payment is part of the commitment and is never added to it a second time.

A deposit is not a discount, an ownership payment or a promise that liability could never exceed that amount. Under the fictional policy it would be released after the complete kit and its condition were assessed. No money is collected or held by this website.

The calculator uses a number of months and does not set real delivery or return dates. A real agreement would need a confirmed start, a deadline and clear handling of late returns before acceptance. No automatic renewal or transfer of ownership is implied here.

You may edit or remove items from the local equipment list at any time because it creates no agreement. This does not establish a right to shorten an actual signed rental. A new term, extension or later purchase would require a separate explicit agreement outside this fictional demonstration.

No insurance policy or damage waiver is offered. The example process calls for a documented handover condition, a return checklist and a written explanation of any proposed assessment. Ordinary wear, damage and missing items would need to be considered against the actual agreement; the site invents no fixed damage tariff.
