Beam 80 makes a larger picture from a relatively small chassis, but the room is part of the system. Its native 1280 × 800 image suits slides and ordinary video rather than fine 4K detail. The 1.5–1.7:1 throw ratio means that a 2 m-wide picture needs roughly 3–3.4 m from lens to screen.

Choose the picture width first, then measure the available lens distance and a safe route for power and video cables. Dim the room and use a flat pale screen surface. Focus manually after the projector is in place; moving it afterward changes both focus and image geometry.
