One table, a longer evening
A group plan for the Reed Room.
Private dining begins with one proposed start and enough time around the table. The Reed Room outline covers nine to sixteen people, dinner at 18:00 and a three-hour allowance. It needs at least seven calendar days of lead time within the same ninety-day planning horizon as regular tables. Monday and the listed closed dates remain closed.
Begin with the people, then consider the food. An individual main serves one unless it says otherwise; the shared trout and vegetable selections are explicitly priced for two. A group may choose several kinds of plates, but the menu does not turn that choice into an automatic catering package. Use the complete ingredients and portions to prepare a thoughtful outline before discussing a real arrangement with a venue.
The long table sits away from the front room’s main movement, with a connecting door and a clear service route. The layout is illustrative, with access assumptions described on the visit page. A real organiser would need to confirm access, allergies, arrival differences and any other requirements with the venue. The local preview does not collect those personal details or send them to staff.
Choose private dining in Plan a table to prepare an unsent summary of the basic proposal. A valid result means the date, party and time fit the fictional rules; it does not check availability or reserve the Reed Room. You can save the local text outline with that status intact, then revise it if the group or date changes.
Gather the outline
Agree the likely party size, dinner date and a common 18:00 beginning.
Read the portions
Compare individual mains and clearly marked selections for two; note the exact ingredients.
List real questions
A real venue would need to discuss access, allergies, timing and other arrangements directly.
Keep the status clear
The local plan stays unsent and cannot hold a room or confirm a meal.

Standard tables: 1–8 people. Private dining: 9–16 people, dinner from 18:00 to 21:00, with at least seven calendar days’ lead time.
Plan up to 90 days ahead, including the final day. Allow at least 120 minutes for a same-day seating. All times use Europe/Amsterdam.
Calendar closures: 2026-12-24, 2026-12-25, 2026-12-26, 2027-01-01. The listed closure dates are part of the fictional calendar; Monday is closed every week.
Party limits describe the example planning flow, not the number of free seats in the restaurant.
The preview asks only for date, meal, time, party size and standard/private mode. It does not request names, email, telephone or dietary details. No input is stored or transmitted.
