Action D7 is a simple 12 MP camera with a fixed wide lens and a removable 1100 mAh battery. Its 4K mode runs at 24 fps, while 1080p at 60 fps gives a different choice for motion. The small body makes it easy to position, but it still needs a stable mount and a recording card chosen for sustained writing.

Compare a short clip in both modes before deciding which one suits the subject. Avoid placing the camera where wide-angle distortion makes a measurement or document misleading. The supplied clamp adapter is for a suitable fixed surface; it is not a helmet safety system or a water enclosure.
