Slate Leaf devices use a monochrome reflective screen for long-form text. The 16 GB and 64 GB configurations share the same display and controls; capacity is the difference. They accept defined unencrypted file formats without supplying a bookstore account or a paid reading library.

Test a representative PDF before moving the whole collection. Large scans and fixed small text may be awkward even when the device has enough storage.
Choose capacity around illustrated documents and scans rather than ordinary text alone. Keep originals and annotations backed up elsewhere; the reader is one reading copy.
Can Leaf play audiobooks or video?
No. The defined models have no audio playback path, and the slow monochrome display is unsuitable for video.
Do protected store books work automatically?
No. Only the stated unencrypted EPUB, PDF and TXT formats are included in this illustrative support definition.
