A closer look at Arc Pixel Pocket Plum
Pixel Pocket Plum uses the same fictional retro hardware as the sun-yellow and teal models. The translucent enclosure changes its appearance and lets the internal arrangement become part of the visual character, without altering the display or controls. It suits a concise local session centred on the included Pixel Trails cartridge and a small physical button layout.
Keep the cartridge and its protective sleeve with this plum kit so the bare handheld is not mistaken for a complete game package. Recharge the two AA cells only in the separate supplied charger. The case has no USB charging path or internet connection, even though other Arc handhelds do.

Questions about this model
Can it run games from other Arc systems?
No. Pixel Pocket uses its own fictional Pixel Cartridge interface. Shift, Station, Orbit and other Pocket media are not compatible.
How is the handheld charged?
Remove the two rechargeable AA cells and use the supplied external charger. The handheld has no USB charging socket, and ordinary non-rechargeable cells must not be put into the charger.
Check this before choosing
Intended uses
- Short local play with physical controls
- A self-contained retro-style cartridge kit
Points to confirm
- No network, television output or compatibility with Shift, Pocket Classic or Pocket Touch games is declared.
- The small non-touch screen and simple controls are a deliberate limitation, not an emulation claim.
