Fold Zoom 2 uses a 16 MP camera with a 24–48 mm equivalent optical zoom, offering two framing extremes without changing the aircraft’s position as much. Its 865 g take-off mass and folding arms make a portable but substantial kit. The controller needs a compatible phone, and one supplied battery creates a single twenty-eight-minute illustrative flight set.
Test the zoom on a stationary subject before combining it with aircraft movement. A tighter view can make camera motion more obvious, so plan each composition carefully. Secure the chosen Slate phone in the controller clamp and keep its connection lead with the kit; the phone itself is not included.
